How to use the Alkaline and Acid Food Lists
Using the lists provided is very simple. Begin by keeping a record of the foods you are eating. If you find that your pH testing shows that you tend to be too acidic, see if any of the foods you eat regularly are in the middle or upper ranges of the acid foods list. If they are, cut back on them and or substitute them for similar foods that aren't so acidic. At the same time, begin adding foods that are, ideally, near the top of the alkaline foods list. Keep in mind that you don't have to go overboard by eliminating all of your acidic foods and adding in tons of alkaline foods. Experiment and see what happens. If you don't make any progress at first, simply cut back or eliminate more acidic foods and replace them with more alkaline ones. |
