Should you choose your own individual
vitamins and minerals
?

Often a person will begin the process of taking vitamins by reading about the benefits of something like vitamin C then go out and buy an inexpensive brand of Vitamin C at the super market.

This would seem like a good first step. However, when people take this first step towards using supplements to improve the health and function of their body, they quickly come to the understanding that the human body needs more than just vitamin C.

This often leads to the purchase of another bottle, of vitamin E perhaps, then another bottle of Vitamin B12 and so on. Perhaps you have done this yourself. I know I did. There's just one problem with this approach which can be illustrated with the following question.

Are you a scientist who has studied nutrition and who knows the exact amount of each vitamin, mineral and herb that will work synergistically within you to provide the micro nutrients that you need for your particular sex and age group?

If you are not, then you may not be choosing what is best for your body even though you have the best of intentions.

Consider also the financial aspect of choosing all your own individual vitamins and minerals. For example, below is a table that is based on what it would cost me over a 30 day period if I went to a vitamin store and chose individually all the vitamins, minerals and other nutrients I know my body needs for my age group. If I did this it would end up costing me about $111 a month.

Fortunately, if you aren't a nutritional scientist there's an easy solution for you. Forget about all those bottles and choose a good quality multi vitamin and mineral supplement that has been formulated by scientists who are experts in the nutritional and pharmaceutical fields. That's what I do.

By the way, I save a lot of money by not going out and buying all those individual vitamins, minerals and other nutrients. I only pay $60 per month for a very high quality vitamin and mineral supplement.

Here's another bit of advice. Don't skimp on price. Pay for the expertise that these scientists provide. Because if you don't you may very well end up paying more for that bargain vitamin supplement than if you choose a good quality vitamin and mineral supplement.

Wait a minute. Paying more for a vitamin supplement that costs less? How could that be? To find out what your vitamin supplement may really be costing you, continue to the next page.
