How To Create Alkaline Water

There's a couple of ways that you can create alkaline water. The easiest way (though more expensive) is to buy a good quality water ionizer that filters all impurities from your water while at the same time making the water alkaline.

To the right is a picture of the water ionizer we have in our kitchen. It's called the Jupiter Melody. This machine does some truly amazing things to water. Here's some of its features.

- Carbon filter

- 0.01 micron 3 stage filter.

- Coral calcium inserted into the water mechanically.

- Automatically reversed cleaning program.

- Different levels of alkaline to acid water. Alkaline for drinking and cooking, acid for cleaning.

- Hot water or low pressure detection for automatic shut off so you don't damage the machine.

This is a great machine. And it's expensive. $800 or more. But we've got one in our kitchen and we love it. The main thing I like about it is it can produce a lot of very clean, very alkaline water quickly.

To give you an example, we've got several 11 liter (3 gallon) Polycarbonate water storage containers on a shelf in our kitchen that we get all our water from. Yet unlike the extremely slow reverse osmosis machine we have, with the Jupiter Melody we can fill up one of these 11 liter Polycarbonate containers completely in only 20 minutes with super alkaline water (9.0 - 10.0 pH). Faster if we don't want the water that alkaline.

Another less expensive way to create alkaline water is to get some good quality bottled water and then structure it yourself. You can do this by adding several products to your water, like the ph-ion products in the photo to the left.

Here's what these products do. The structuring agent part adds 72 activated ionic minerals to the water. This helps to structure and cluster the water molecules.

The alkalizing agent that you also add to the water boosts the pH to 9.5, making the water very alkaline. I use these two products when I'm away from my Melody water ionizer. It's amazing how long these products last. They really can structure a lot of water. The company says this structuring agent and alkalizing agent can treat 25 gallons of water and I believe them. So there you have it. Now you know how to create alkaline water. I highly recommend that you take one of these two approaches, either a machine like the Melody or the structuring products, and get in the habit of only drinking alkaline water. There have been many reports of people improving their energy levels and how they feel just by drinking alkaline water alone.
