Deadly Poison, Electricity and Seizures

When you think about it, how can it make any sense to put something this poisonous into a person’s mouth.  For example, mercury is considered to be such a highly toxic poison that it is against the law to just throw it out.  It has to be disposed of in a very specific manner.

This includes when pieces of mercury amalgam fillings come out of a tooth and the entire filling has to replaced.  Yet for some reason, it is perfectly ok from a dentist’s perspective to place this deadly poison just inches from your brain.

But not only would having a poison like this so close to your brain affect your mental functions, so too would having a source of electrical current this close to your brain.

For you see, amalgams have been shown to produce electrical current.  It is the combination of the metals in your fillings and your saliva.  In fact, by using an ammeter, electrical current has been found to be very common in the mouths of individuals who have amalgams.  And in the mouths of individuals who have crowns.  And even those who have braces.

But here is why this extra electrical current can be especially unhealthy.  The brain functions within a specific amount of electrical current.  When you add in the additional current from amalgams, crowns and braces, it can scramble the electrical signals in the brain.

Such is the impact of the electrical current given off by mercury amalgams that the sequence in which the amalgams are removed, depending on each amalgam’s electrical charge, is CRITICAL to the recovery of the patient.  In other words, remove the amalgams in the wrong electrical sequence and you can damage the patient.

One individual who has a tremendous amount of experience with mercury amalgams (and the wrath of the American Dental Association) is Dr. Hal Huggins.  He has worked with thousands of patients and seen firsthand what mercury amalgams can do.  Here’s a couple of examples, from Dr. Huggin’s book, “It’s All In Your Head: The Link Between Mercury Amalgams And Illness”.

A young girl named Jan had been voted the most popular girl in her class at school.  She had been a good student, a cheerleader, an outstanding child with no signs of mental illness.

Yet during a visit to the dentist to fill a cavity with a mercury amalgam, Jan suddenly felt a shooting pain in her chest.  This continued through the appointment and after her mother took her home.

That night, her mother had to rush Jan to the hospital due to her daughter’s pain and hyperventilation.  The scary part is that Jan kept telling her mother, “Mommy, I’m going to die.”  The doctors couldn’t find anything wrong with her.

6 months and 50 doctors later, there was still no answer.  But luckily Jan and her mother found their way to Dr. Huggins.  Dr. Huggins removed Jan’s amalgams.  4 days later, Jan was back in school after a 6 month absence. She was then able to complete two semesters of work in one semester and graduate with her class.

Here’s another account by Dr. Huggins.  In 1982 he met eleven year old Susan.  This was 6 days before Christmas.  Susan had been having seizures every 15 minutes for the last 6 months.

Because Susan’s seizures had been so violent, Dr. Huggins and his assistants had only 14 minutes to remove Susan’s mercury amalgams and replace them with non-mercury fillings.  Right as they were completing the procedure, Susan started to have violent convulsions in the chair.  Even with 4 adults holding Susan down, Dr. Huggins described the event as “all of us were thrown up and down like we were on a bucking bronco.”

Yet 6 days later, on Christmas day, Susan “woke up”.  The numbness in her body was gone and her brain was clear.  She was able to get up and walk downstairs by herself.  No more seizures.

This kind of reaction to the toxic mercury in amalgams is not an isolated event.  Dr. Huggins relates how 5,000 people per month would call his office for information on how to find a doctor who “believes” in toxicity.
